Iran has seen decades of drought. Now, in the spring of 2019, heavy rains and major floods hit large parts of the country. Many dozens of people died. Professor Mehdi Ghomeshi from the Chamran University of Ahvaz - Water Sciences Engineering - relates these extreme weather events to climate change.
